Internal Auditing
I carry out internal audits for all types of companies
Auditing is an independent and objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organisation’s operations. For this reason, I focus on controlling and enhancing the effectiveness of agri-food companies, supported by my extensive experience in audits within the agri-food sector.
Ultimately, my work aims to improve resource management efficiency, strengthen companies’ food safety and quality culture, and verify whether procedures are properly implemented and controls are adequate, providing constant and effective support to the management of any agri-food organisation.
To achieve this, I can carry out two types of audits.
Second-party audit
These audits aim to verify compliance with the requirements established by a client (usually a distribution chain) for its supplier (an agri-food company). This activity is common in supplier approval or qualification audit projects for distribution chains. In addition, the BRCGS standard requires suppliers of high-risk raw materials to either hold a GFSI-recognized certification or be audited. In this regard, as an experienced auditor, I can carry out audits of your high-risk raw material suppliers.
Pre-audit
Performed in accordance with IFS, BRCGS, and FSSC 22000 standards within the company to verify compliance before a Certification Audit by an Independent Body. This pre-audit is intended for companies that want to assess their current status and prepare themselves before requesting a Certification Audit from an Independent Body.
